You can make changes to your entire website, such as customising the font and colour of your text, the style of the buttons, or the background image, in the Global Design panel. This allows you to keep your website’s design and colour scheme consistent across all pages and saves you having to edit each piece of text, button, etc. individually. Any changes that you make to specific widgets or pages will override anything you do here, therefore we recommend that you make changes here first before customising any part of your website.
Click Design on the left menu to open the Global Design panel.
This section lets you control the style of the text for your website, both for paragraphs and titles of all sizes (H1 to H6). Change the font size, style, colour, format, and direction that will affect the text for all future text and title widgets.
This section lets you control the style of the button widgets for your website. Select one of our button designs and set the background colour, border style, and text. Choose other effects like adding rounded corners or shadows to the button.
This section lets you control the style of the image widgets on your website. You can change the border of images, add rounded corners, or shadow effects.
This section allows you to define the global row design in terms of background colour, default row spacing and default column spacing. Any changes to individual rows will override the global row settings. For more information about rows, see Row Editor.
This section lets you control the background of your website. Choose between using a colour or image as your background. Changes also affect the desktop and tablet.
This section lets you control the layout of your website's navigation on desktop, tablet, and mobile devices. Choose between various layouts for easy navigation, such as a top bar header or sidebar menu.
Things to consider
Changes that you make to specific widgets or pages will override these global styles. For this reason, we recommend that you first decide on a global style, and afterwards make customisations to parts of your website that you want to stand out or look different from the rest.
Changing the layout of your website’s navigation often affects the behaviour of your header and sometimes the rest of your website. A backup is automatically created whenever you change the layout, so that if your header or the rest of your website suddenly looks incorrect, you can simply go back to how it was before the layout change.
